Qualified PVC edge banding strips should have no obvious brushed stripes, scratches, spots, and black stains on the surface. Moreover, the gluing condition of the edge banding is a very important reference standard. If it cannot be glued well, it will not be able to achieve the proper decoration condition, and the hot melt adhesive on its back must be firmly attached. When we buy it, we must check whether its surface is smooth and flat. If there are spots or pinholes, it is a substandard product. Also check whether the back of the edge band is flat. Use a rigid ruler to clamp it horizontally to see if it is in a straight line. If it is not, thick glue lines may appear on both sides of the edge band.
You can use your nails or other tools to swipe back and forth on the edge banding. If there is damage and depression, the abrasion resistance and hardness of the edge banding will not meet the standard and the quality will be unqualified.
